For many decades, the Church of God held an annual meeting, affectionately known as Anderson Camp meeting.  Ministers and lay people from around the country would travel to Anderson.  Many of them would stay in tents or campers or dorm rooms on the Anderson University campus.

For forty of those years, the meetings were held in Warner Auditorium, the space ship looking building at the East end of the University.  The building was the largest venue in town seating around 7,500 people.  The building was designed without the need for supporting columns, so the view from any seat was not obstructed.  Unfortunately the ceiling had been sprayed with insulation containing asbestos and the decision was made to tear it down.

This is a video that I took in late 2007 before and after the final destruction.
